5G Deployments, Use Cases and Policy

Access to reliable internet service on base has moved from luxury to necessity for service members and their families, while telecommunications infrastructure for 5G deployments has become a policy priority. Keeping pace with new devices, new technologies, commercial capabilities and user expectations is critical. Discussing base case studies, successful deployments and trial initiatives, this panel will explore how the DoD can efficiently and economically introduce new services that improve the Quality of Life for on-post residents. The discussion will tackle how leaders are reinventing dated broadband models to usher in the 5G era.
