Joint Base Lewis-McChord Partnership Tackles Childcare

Working with a diverse group of DoD, community, and industry partners, the South Sound Military and Communities Partnership helped lead an initiative to tackle one of the biggest challenges facing military families today: childcare. This panel discussion will explore how this partnership worked to quantify military family childcare needs at the community level and form a collaboration with various levels of government, nonprofit organizations and corporate partners to develop an innovative military childcare strategy.
