Native Connections

The session will present an overview of Native American and Alaska Native communities, executive guidance regarding tribal inclusion and government-to-government consultation. It will include a look at Alaska’s Native cultures, the strong connection between Indigenous People and the military, and Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson’s relationship to Native organizations. The brief will share ideas on Native community inclusion at military installations, reference, and resources for the audience’s consideration
