Installations and defense communities are becoming increasingly impacted by extreme weather events and the effects of climate change. The need for innovative solutions to mitigate and prevent future disasters is becoming a top priority for leaders in DOD, Congress and communities. This session will examine the weather events that caused extensive damage at Tyndall AFB and Camp Lejeune, NC, specifically examining lessons learned and the new partnerships, infrastructure and technologies being developed that will make these installations and their host defense communities more resilient and prepared for the future.
