The Connected Army Family: Maximizing Infrastructure and Real Estate for Optimal Internet Services

Access to reliable internet service on base has moved from luxury to necessity for service members and their families. Keeping pace with new devices, commercial capabilities and user expectations is critical.  Unfortunately, many legacy processes can create workflow burdens on all parties, which in turn inhibit the timely, efficient and economical introduction of new services that can improve quality of life for on-post residents. This panel will explore how industry leaders are reinventing dated broadband models to connect soldiers and their families. A case study on Fort Carson will be included, discussing how Boingo worked with AAFES to leverage current infrastructure, maximize real estate and introduce innovative new solutions to deliver the next generation connectivity on-base communities deserve.
